All summer long I have been wanting to do a fun creek session with an adventurous family. The change of setting, playing and splashing in the water, I had it all planned out in my head and knew it would be beautiful. However all summer long this location was unusable, completely submerged due to high water levels and too much rain. So I have been patiently waiting for just the right time. Finally towards the end of summer I made the trek down to check and it was perfect, and I had just the right family lined up that was adventurous and carefree enough to really embrace it and create magic.
We met at Craig Pittman Park in Navarre, Ohio and the night was beautiful. I’ve known the Staten Family for years now and have always admired their easy going, nature loving spirit and they way they just embrace and love on their boys selflessly. We spent the evening playing all along the Tuscawaras River. We skipped rocks, cuddled, and spent the night playing and splashing in the water. The skies lately have been incredible, and by the end of the session it had turned into beautiful cotton candy. As we were walking out, we even found one of the Northeast Ohio rocks! I love how if you look closely, you’ll see hints of fall creeping in.
This session was styled by me, with the gorgeous Maxi dress borrowed from my Client Closet. All of this comes included with every session!
