Fall is in full swing, and it looks like it’s going to be an early one this year. We planned this session for right after Labor Day, hoping to still catch some of that leftover summer heat, but after one reschedule due to rain, I was surprised to see how much fall was already setting in. Chilly evenings, leaves turning and falling, fall is definitely coming in quick and early this year.
I met the H Family last year when they booked a fall session. We have very similar families with three kids at similar ages, and we clicked instantly talking over kids and this crazy parenting journey. So when they emailed to book this year, I was thrilled to see them again. Mom had a special request as they had just gotten back early summer from visiting family in Korea, and all of their kids had gotten their Korean attire, which is a tradition to wear for milestone birthdays. With their youngest having recently turned one, she wanted to include this portion into their family session and I thought it was so much fun and incredibly beautiful. One of the fans was Moms back from when she was a little girl; talk about a beautiful sentiment of their family history!
We spent the rest of the evening cuddling, playing quilt games, and having fun by the water. These guys are always styled so perfectly like something right out of a magazine, and with my favorite location on top of it with such beautiful, rustic textures, it was gorgeous.
