I love Instagram. Don’t ask me why but I find it to be the social media outlet I use most, as I tend to share more of my personal life and thoughts there. September ended up being a slow month for clients. I honestly really enjoyed the downtime after a busy summer to rest and refocus before heading into an even busier fall season. It also gave me time to work on a few classes, get some new ideas and energy going into the fall season with some amazing families, and work on a few personal projects for fun. Here is my month in review.
We started out the month with an evening at Firestone Metro Park in Akron, Ohio. They have had the most gorgeous wildflowers this summer and we have been there quite a few times taking pictures of the kids.
I got featured over on Life and Lens Blog for my picture of the kids riding the Ferris Wheel at the Main Street Festival in North Canton, Ohio. It is always such an honor to be included with so many talented photographers. To see it, click here.
I got busy writing a few important and very informative blog posts. If you are considering a session with me or have one coming up, please take time to read these over.
The first with a behind the scenes look into my family sessions, to read more click here.
The second on the importance of printed products and why I sell them. To read more, click here.
I played around with some new lenses and new ideas from my classes focusing on connection, details, and light.
And I worked on a personal project just for fun turning my kids into magical fairytales. How cool is that? More of these will be coming in the future. It was a lot of fun to do something different and out of the ordinary.
