Tammi found me on Google, called me and told me she wanted to hire me. No questions asked, no need to call 10 other photographers, just wanted to hire me. I love that. We chatted for a good 10-15 minutes and I knew right away I liked her. She was funny and easy to talk to, not to mention lived maybe 5-10 minutes from me. It’s funny how I always end up with clients I love and click with so well. Tammi’s daughter Ella was turning nine months old and she wanted to do a milestone session. Her husband had built a gorgeous pond in their backyard and she wanted to use it for their pictures. Of course, I loved that idea. What will mean more looking back on these pictures? A park we went to play at, or the pond your husband built by hand?
With Ella’s bedtime we knew we couldn’t do a true sunset session, but pushed it back as far as we could and thankfully the sun came out for some beautiful backlighting. Ella is just the smiliest, happiest baby and made my job so easy! We played, tried a few different outfit changes, had some fun with bubbles, and ended the night with her splashing around in her pool.
